Eduardo González Green, CPA, CFE, CFF
Mr. González-Green earned his BA (Cum Laude) at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and Certified in Financial Forensics.
He serves as a partner in the Department of Audit and Consulting at Aquino, De Cordova, Alfaro & Co., LLP. His specializations include: financial and operational audits, assistance in buying and selling businesses, analysis of internal controls, fraud and other investigations.
CPA González-Green has made a number of courses including issues of fraud, internal controls, ethics, due diligence, auto dealers, cash management, and accounting and auditing, both locally and internationally. He has been interviewed or have prepared several articles for professional journals and newspapers in Puerto Rico. It has also been interviewed on several radio and television programs on issues of fraud.
He was a member of the Governing Board of the San Juan Chapter of the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants from 1997 to 2003. He chaired the Chapter during 2001-2002 and in 2004, this chapter dedicated its annual meeting to Eduardo.
In 2003, he chaired the Continuing Education Committee of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP). In October 2003, Mr. González-Green was selected as one of the leading young executives in the special edition of the business newspaper Caribbean Business entitled "40 under 40".
For 2005 and 2006, he served as chairman of the Committee for the Study of Fraud in Puerto Rico of the CPA Society Foundation, a study never conducted in Puerto Rico and was successfully released in August 2006.
Belonged to the Continuing Education Committee of the Society of CPAs from 2001 to 2010 and in 2004, the CPA González-Green received a special recognition for his contribution to it. He also chaired the Committee for the year ended in August 2008 and also received special recognition in August of that year.
